Happy news good folks! We've been drinking soda and glowing wine all December.

On the 3'rd of January the well known celebrity Carl joined the two remaining Spirals in Lidköping for a magic moment in the rehearsal studio. Like always good tunes were produced and the "Sparkling-Spiral-Spirit" overwhelmed the Swedish souls of lo-fi rock right away. New songs took form and we recorded some rough versions just to secure them for future work.

We're not sure how and when the next record will appear but we're working on it. We'll keep you informed as usually, you all know how great we are at keeping this site updated. Hey little girl!

2006-07-01

Small, but important, movements have taken place in Camp Spiral Stairs.

During the last week we've sent t-shirts and pins to people in Sweden, Japan and France. All of them will be very handsome and fancy, that's for sure! We're very happy and grateful for your support, great!

Karl is still in London working his dreads off in a Swedish restaurant and Martin and Fredrik have been lazy when it comes to rehearsing. But two days ago they took their bikes to the rehearsing studio and showed some good old Spiral Spirit.

They played a bunch of old songs first just to start it all up. Gluesquare Companions sounded great, Simple Head was slow, Hipster crappy and Classmates rounded off as a reverential psalm. Very nice and probably a given item on the next setlist, if there ever will exist such a thing again.

After the short nostalgic trip it was time for some jamming and we experienced some nice moments of great music which hopefully will be used in the future.

Now, have a beer...for safety's sake...

So, what's happening with Spiral Stairs? The answer is: Not much, or a lot!

Karl moved to London a few days ago, and he will probably stay there for a couple of months. That makes it a bit hard to rehearse, but Fredrik and Martman will keep the flag high!

Our new songs have recieved a lot of nice feedback and that makes us happy! Keep it that way from now on, ok? We're happy if you're happy!

We have some upcoming secrets that will make you go crazy. So stay tuned and keep your eyes open for more information. And remember that you will go crazy. Totally...

Alright! As you already know we've been to the studio and recorded some new material. The work went on better than we thought bearing in mind that the songs were not quite finished when we entered the studio. But long days, early mornngs, late nights and discipline resulted in something that we really belive in. Great music with Spiral Stairs!

As we also told you we had our own photographer during much of the time and we will put up some pics on the site so you can put your eyes on something beatiful. Hehe...

So, how long do you have to wait until the new demo is released? Well, we don't really know. The songs have to be mixed and we also have some work with cover and artwork to do. But everything is in progress so don't worry.
